Speaker:
Wendy Moulsdale RN(EC), MN, NNP-BC, Education Lead, PAIL Network
Wendy Moulsdale is a Nurse Practitioner at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in the NICU. Wendy is also the Education Lead for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network, now a part of Sunnybrook’s Women and Babies Program. During Wendy’s 30 year career, she has journeyed with far too many families as they experienced infant loss in the NICU setting. Wendy’s passion and commitment to the area of bereavement led her to join PAIL Network (then PBSO) as a volunteer in 2010. When she became the Lead for Education in 2014, Wendy completely revised the one day education program and the Compassionate Care Workshop was created, based on evidence-based information from current Canadian literature and leaders in the field around the world. Wendy and her Education Faculty have travelled around the province of Ontario (and to Newfoundland!) providing the CCW to over 600 people since May 2014. She also contributed to the content development of the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Prenatal Education Key Messages. Wendy’s other passions include singing in a choir, flying a Cessna, and travelling.
