Description
This ready-to-use workshop in French (4 short videos shot in 2014 and a facilitator guide updated in 2019) was developed to help service providers working with parents of children 0 to 4y. The videos and the guide can be used for group sessions, or during one-on-one meetings, such as home visits. Depending on the parents and the age of their children, one or more videos can be watched in a single session.
- The guide contains suggestions to present each video, website suggestions to deepen the subject, and an evaluation form at the end.
- Each video (one for each age, from 1 year to 4 year) shows common examples of parent-children interactions. An exert comments the scenes and offers extra information to help parents support their child’s development of self-regulation.
